Registered Nurse – Operating Room

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 4x10-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Scrub and circulate in the Operating Room across a range of surgical specialties including cardiac, liver transplant, craniotomies, and spinal cases
• Float between multiple facility locations as assigned
• Float among various services within the main OR as needed
• Provide high-quality perioperative nursing care in a Level I Trauma environment
• Document patient care accurately using the Epic charting system

Required Qualifications

• Active and valid Registered Nurse (RN) state license required at time of submission
• Minimum of 3 years of Operating Room experience
• Experience in cardiac, liver transplant, craniotomy, and spinal surgical cases
• Level I Trauma experience required
• Level I Trauma certification required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Ability to both scrub and circulate

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Trauma Level I course and certificate preferred
• Experience with orthopedic fracture cases is a plus
• Proficiency with Epic charting system
