Registered Nurse – Operating Room

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 4x10-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Scrub and circulate in a high-volume operating room environment across multiple service lines
• Float between multiple affiliated facilities as assigned
• Provide skilled perioperative nursing care for complex cases including cardiac, liver transplant, craniotomies, and spinal procedures
• Utilize Epic electronic health record system for clinical documentation
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and quality outcomes in a Level I Trauma setting

Required Qualifications

• Active, valid Registered Nurse (RN) state license required at time of submission
• Minimum of 3 years of Operating Room experience
• Experience with cardiac, liver transplant, craniotomy, and spinal cases required
• Level I Trauma experience and certification required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Ability to both scrub and circulate required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Trauma Level I course and certificate preferred
• Experience with orthopedic fracture cases is a plus
• Proficiency with Epic charting system preferred
