Contract | Days | 12-Hour Shifts | On-Call Required | Expected 72 Hours Biweekly (on-call hours not included)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care in a high-volume operating room environment across multiple surgical specialties including General, Orthopedics, and GYN
• Apply demonstrated knowledge of aseptic technique principles throughout all surgical procedures
• Operate complex surgical equipment including endoscopic, laser, and robotic systems during procedures
• Support surgical teams across a range of specialties such as ENT, Plastics, Podiatry, Neuro, Thoracic, Urology, and Vascular
• Complete and pass a facility-administered ECG/Dysrhythmia and Medication assessment (85% passing score, one attempt only) prior to assignment start
• Adhere to facility appearance standards including natural, short, unchipped nails only

Required Qualifications

• Current Massachusetts RN License required at time of submission
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) required at time of submission
• Current, active Operating Room experience with demonstrated proficiency in General, Orthopedic (total joints), and GYN surgical specialties
• Ortho trauma and general surgery experience required
• Travel nursing experience required
• COVID-19 vaccination including booster and Flu vaccination required (medical exemptions accepted)
• Must not reside within 50 miles of the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Robotic surgical experience, particularly in Orthopedics, GYN, and General surgery (must be documented in candidate profile)
• Neurosurgery experience is a bonus
• Familiarity with a broad range of surgical specialties including Thoracic, Vascular, Urology, and Plastics
