Contract | Rotating Shift (Days/Evenings/Nights) | Includes on-call/callback, floating, holidays, and weekends per unit needs

Key Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care across a wide variety of surgical specialties including orthopedics, general surgery, plastics, urology, cardiac, neuro, vascular, ophthalmic, GYN, ENT, thoracic, oral-maxillofacial, and trauma within a Level 1 Trauma Center
• Perform both scrub and circulator roles as needed throughout surgical procedures
• Support transplant program cases involving livers, kidneys, and hearts
• Operate and assist with procedures utilizing Da Vinci robotic surgical systems across multiple services
• Adapt to on-call, callback, and rotating shift requirements including holidays and weekends

Required Qualifications

• Active New York State RN License (NY state license only)
• Minimum two (2) years of operating room experience in a Level 1 Trauma Center
• Ability to both scrub and circulate
• BLS certification – American Heart Association only

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ACLS certification (American Heart Association preferred)
• Telemetry experience (highly desired)
• Experience with specialty cases including transplants, plastics, and reconstructive surgery
• Craniotomy experience and/or strong orthopedic surgical background
