Travel Nurse RN - Operating Room in Rochester, NY

Operating Room Registered Nurse – Level 4 (RN OR)

Contract | Rotating Shift (Days, Evenings, Nights) | On-call, callback, floating, holidays, and weekends per unit needs | Onsite

• Provide perioperative nursing care across a wide range of surgical specialties including orthopedics, general surgery, plastics, urology, cardiac, neuro, vascular, ophthalmic, GYN, ENT, thoracic, oral-maxillofacial, and trauma
• Perform both scrub and circulator roles as needed within the operating room
• Support robotic-assisted surgical procedures utilizing da Vinci robotic systems across multiple services
• Participate in transplant program cases including liver, kidney, and heart procedures
• Respond to on-call and callback assignments and rotate across shifts, holidays, and weekends per unit needs

• Active New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license – NY state license required
• Minimum of two (2) years of operating room experience
• Ability to scrub and circulate
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association (required)

• Two (2) or more years of operating room experience in a Level 1 Trauma Center
• ACLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Telemetry experience highly desired
• Specialty surgical experience including transplants, plastics, reconstructive surgery, craniotomy, and orthopedics
