Contract | Rotating Shift (Days/Evenings/Nights) | On-call, callback, floating, holidays, and weekends per unit needs
Key Responsibilities
Provide perioperative nursing care across a wide range of surgical specialties including orthopedics, general surgery, plastics, urology, cardiac, neuro, vascular, ophthalmic, GYN, ENT, thoracic, oral-maxillofacial, and trauma
Perform both scrub and circulator roles as required by case and unit needs
Support a Level 1 Trauma Center environment, responding to emergent and complex surgical cases
Assist with robotic-assisted surgical procedures utilizing da Vinci robotic systems across multiple service lines
Participate in transplant program cases including liver, kidney, and heart procedures
Adhere to on-call, callback, floating, holiday, and weekend scheduling requirements per unit needs
Required Qualifications
Active New York State Registered Nurse license (NY state license only)
Minimum of two (2) years of operating room experience in a Level 1 Trauma Center
Demonstrated ability to both scrub and circulate
BLS certification from the American Heart Association (required)
Preferred Experience / Skills
ACLS certification (American Heart Association preferred)
Telemetry experience (highly desired)
Experience with specialty cases including transplants, plastics, and reconstructive surgery
