    Job Title

    Operating Room Registered Nurse – Level 4

    Location

    New York, NY

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Rotating Shift (Days/Evenings/Nights) | On-call, callback, floating, holidays, and weekends per unit needs

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide perioperative nursing care across a wide range of surgical specialties including orthopedics, general surgery, plastics, urology, cardiac, neuro, vascular, ophthalmic, GYN, ENT, thoracic, oral-maxillofacial, and trauma
    • Scrub and circulate for surgical procedures in a Level 1 Trauma Center environment
    • Assist with and support transplant program cases including liver, kidney, and heart procedures
    • Operate and assist with robotic-assisted surgical procedures utilizing da Vinci robotic systems
    • Adhere to on-call, callback, floating, holiday, and weekend scheduling requirements as determined by unit needs
    Required Qualifications
    • Active New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license – NY state license required
    • Minimum of two (2) years of operating room experience
    • Ability to both scrub and circulate
    • BLS certification through the American Heart Association (required)
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Two (2) or more years of OR experience in a Level 1 Trauma Center setting
    • ACLS certification through the American Heart Association
    • Telemetry experience highly desired
    • Specialty surgical experience including transplants, plastics, reconstructive surgery, craniotomy, and orthopedics
