Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Days | Full-Time | Onsite | Start Time: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care in a high-volume adult operating room environment with 22 ORs
• Maintain a 1:1 patient ratio throughout surgical procedures including scrub and/or circulating roles
• Support a broad range of surgical specialties including General Surgery, Surgical Oncology, GYN/GYN ONC, Orthopedics, Neurosurgery, ENT, Plastics, Burn, Urology, Podiatry, and Colo-Rectal
• Utilize Meditech EMR for accurate and timely documentation of patient care
• Participate in rotating on-call coverage, averaging approximately two 8-hour shifts per month
• Maintain BLS and ACLS certifications throughout the duration of the assignment

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Texas
• BLS certification (required)
• ACLS certification (required)
• Minimum of 1 year of OR nursing experience

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Robotic surgical experience strongly preferred — facility operates a large, active robotics program
• Familiarity with Meditech EMR
• Experience across multiple surgical specialties within a high-acuity OR setting
