Schedule / Job TypeContract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Days – 11:00 AM to 7:30 PM | Onsite
Key Responsibilities- Provide routine and complex nursing care utilizing the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation for assigned patients in the Operating Room setting.
- Function as an OR Circulator, managing the clinical environment and coordinating care throughout surgical procedures.
- Administer medications and treatments per appropriate protocol; monitor for side effects and effectiveness of prescribed treatments.
- Address complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families in accordance with scope of practice.
- Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided accurately and thoroughly.
- Assess learning needs and provide education to patients, family members, and caregivers; identify issues and connect with appropriate resources.
Required Qualifications- Active RN license in the state of Texas or a compact state license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required – American Heart Association (AHA) only.
- Minimum 1 year of Operating Room nursing experience required.
- OR Circulator experience required.
Preferred Experience / Skills- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Experience managing contingencies in complex clinical OR environments.
