Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (18:45–07:15) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care in an acute care operating room environment across trauma, neuro, vascular, and orthopedic surgical cases
• Participate in on-call rotations distributed equally among nursing staff approximately every 6 weeks, which may include up to 6–8 shifts per 6-week period covering nights, evenings, and weekends
• Float between like units within the facility as needed
• Document patient care accurately using Epic electronic health records
• Commit to working 3 of the 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• Adhere to weekend scheduling requirements as part of the standard rotation

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license valid in California; compact license must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 2 years of operating room experience, including trauma, neuro, vascular, and orthopedic surgical specialties
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Pending licenses are not accepted
• Must submit all requested time off and scheduling preferences at time of submission; post-submission RTO requests may not be considered
• Local candidates are welcome; applicants must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be considered under travel terms

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with variable start times and flexible scheduling in a high-acuity surgical environment
• Familiarity with Epic charting in a perioperative setting
• Prior experience floating between sister or like units in a multi-facility health system
