Registered Nurse – Operating Room

Santa Rosa, CA

Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Days (4x12 Hours, 7:00–19:00) | Variable start times: 7:00 or 9:00 | Weekend availability required | On-call required (distributed equally among nursing staff, approximately 6–8 shifts per 6-week period, including nights, evenings, and weekends)

• Provide direct perioperative nursing care within an acute care hospital Operating Room setting
• Perform scrub and/or circulating duties across a range of surgical specialties including trauma, neuro, vascular, and orthopedic procedures
• Participate in on-call rotations as assigned, including evening, night, and weekend call shifts
• Float between like units within the facility or to affiliate hospitals nearby as needed
• Document patient care accurately using Epic electronic health records
• Adhere to all facility compliance requirements, including holiday coverage obligations

• Minimum 2 years of Operating Room experience, with demonstrated experience in trauma, neuro, vascular, and orthopedic surgery
• Valid, active California RN license (pending license not accepted)
• Current BLS certification
• Proficiency with Epic charting system
• Willingness to work weekends and participate in on-call rotation
• Willingness to work 2 out of 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's

• Prior travel nursing experience in an Operating Room setting
• Experience floating between multiple units or facilities
• Familiarity with acute care hospital environments with high trauma volume

• Work at a 277-bed acute care hospital offering a dynamic surgical environment across multiple high-acuity specialties
• Enjoy free on-site parking and scrubs/OR attire provided for the assignment
