Key Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care across an active OR environment handling 10–25 cases per day across 7 rooms
• Perform scrub and/or circulating duties as assigned within the operating room
• Participate in on-call rotations including weekdays, weekends, and holidays
• Work 2 weekends per 6-week schedule as part of standard rotation
• Be available to work 2 of 4 designated holiday periods annually (Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's) based on departmental needs and staff rotation
• In the event of an emergency, may be assigned to an emergency response team and expected to remain at the facility until the event passes or serve as part of a relief team; specific details will be communicated per event

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license – Compact or Louisiana license required and must be in hand at time of submittal
• Minimum 2 years of Operating Room experience required
• Cardiovascular (CV) experience is required
• BLS certification required (AHA-issued)
• NURSYS report must be submitted with profile and must be current within 4 weeks of submission date
• Must reside more than 65 miles from the facility (as measured from the address on file with the driver's license to the facility address) to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• First-time travelers will be considered provided they have sufficient OR experience
• Familiarity with high-volume surgical environments and multi-room OR settings
• Experience working within structured on-call and weekend rotation schedules
