Contract | Days | 4x10s, Monday–Friday (rotating day off based on schedule) | Start time between 5:30 AM and 11:00 AM | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver coordinated nursing care for an assigned group of patients in a fast-paced outpatient surgery and endoscopy environment according to established standards of care and the nursing process
• Supervise and direct the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff and coordinate care with other disciplines
• Utilize critical thinking, professional discretion, and independent judgment in patient care decisions
• Manage pre-op and PACU Phase II workflows, including care for pre-op open heart and total joint patients
• Administer and monitor moderate sedation while managing rapid patient turnover

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in California
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
• Endoscopy experience required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (AHA or ARC)
• PALS certification (AHA or ARC)
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records system

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Outpatient surgery and perioperative experience strongly preferred
• Experience with moderate sedation and rapid patient turnover
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
• Acute care facility experience
