Registered Nurse – Operating Room

Schedule / Job TypeContract | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift | 5x8-Hour Shifts (7:00–15:30 and 11:00–19:30, alternating based on need)
Key Responsibilities- Perform OR circulating nurse duties across a range of surgical service lines including General, Orthopedic, Neurology, GYN, OB (C-Section), ENT, Plastics, Vascular, and Eyes
- Maintain a 1:1 patient ratio throughout surgical procedures
- Participate in on-call rotation, including one weeknight per week and one weekend every six weeks, with a 20-minute callback requirement
- Alternate between AM and PM shift schedules based on departmental need
- Chart and document patient care using Epic EMR
Required Qualifications- Valid Washington State RN license or active Compact RN license (required at time of submission)
- Previous OR circulating experience required
- Ability to adhere to on-call requirements, including a 20-minute callback response time
- Travel nursing experience required
- Must be available for scheduling across both AM and PM shift windows
Preferred Experience / Skills- Prior OR charge nurse experience strongly preferred
- Familiarity with Epic EMR charting system
- Experience across multiple surgical service lines including Ortho, Neuro, and Vascular
