Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in the operating room setting throughout the perioperative process
- Assist surgical team during operative procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort
- Perform circulating and/or scrub duties as required by the surgical team
- Respond to on-call assignments as scheduled, including intermittent weekend coverage
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient care and surgical procedures
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Iowa or compact license eligibility
- Current BLS certification required
- Experience in an operating room or perioperative nursing setting
- Ability to fulfill intermittent on-call and weekend scheduling requirements
Preferred Experience / Skills- CNOR certification or working toward certification
- Experience with a broad range of surgical specialties
- Familiarity with sterile technique and surgical instrumentation
