Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Days | Tuesday–Friday, four 10-hour shifts (7:30 AM – 5:30 PM)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide perioperative nursing care across 2 OR suites and 1 procedure room, supporting an average of 5 cases per day
- Scrub orthopedic cases including total knee and total hip procedures
- Assist with general surgery cases such as hernia repair and cholecystectomy, as well as endoscopic procedures including EGDs and colonoscopies
- Collaborate with OR technicians and surgical services staff to ensure safe, efficient patient care
- Document patient care accurately using the CPSI electronic medical record system
- Float occasionally to support the Surgery Clinic area as needed
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Current BLS certification
- Current ACLS certification
- Demonstrated ability to scrub orthopedic surgical cases
- Operating room clinical experience
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Ability to scrub a broad range of general and specialty surgical cases beyond orthopedics
- Prior experience with CPSI electronic medical record system
- Comfort working in a small, close-knit surgical department environment
