Contract | 12-Hour Night Shifts (3x12) | 18:45–07:15 | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Perform both scrub and circulator roles across a high-volume operating room environment with 17 rooms and approximately 45 cases
• Provide perioperative nursing care with a focus on neuro spine, ortho spine, vascular, and/or robotic surgical procedures
• Utilize facility systems including EPIC, PYXIS, and SBAR for documentation and communication
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and procedural efficiency throughout all phases of the operative experience
• Participate in unit staff meetings and maintain communication board standards

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license – NC state or Compact license required
• Minimum 2 years of recent, acute Operating Room experience (must not have been out of the acute OR setting for more than 6 months)
• Must be proficient in both scrub and circulator roles
• Strong experience in at least 2 of the following specialties: neuro spine, ortho spine, vascular, or robotics
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification
• Must not be currently serving in a management role as most recent position

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience preferred; candidates without travel experience may still be considered
• Familiarity with EPIC electronic health records system
• Experience in urology, oncology GYN, or additional surgical subspecialties is a plus
