Position Overview:
This Surgery Center is a high-volume, fast-paced Ambulatory Surgery Center specializing in Orthopedic and ENT procedures. We are seeking an experienced OR / Circulating RN who is confident and excels in both specialties and thrives in an efficient surgical environment.
Additional Schedule Information
- Monday–Friday
- Day shift (end time is approximate and may vary based on case volume)
- Schedule for the following day is finalized between 3:00 PM – 4:00 PM
- Flexibility is required to accommodate late add-on cases
Responsibilities
- Circulate during Orthopedic and ENT surgeries
- Support efficient room turnovers with a goal of 15 minutes or less while maintaining patient safety
- Utilize paper charting (no electronic medical record documentation)
- Assist with ancillary duties including:
- Stocking supplies
- Clerical support
- Maintaining OR readiness
- General operational support for the surgery center
Requirements
- Background Check
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Driver's License
- Skills Assessment: OR / Circulating RN
- Texas State RN License or NLC
- Tuberculosis Screening
- Recent experience 1+ yrs. in both Orthopedic and ENT surgery
- Previous Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) experience strongly preferred
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Ability to multitask and assist with non-clinical operational duties
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Flexible and dependable with changing schedules and daily case additions

- Willing to assist beyond circulatingg by supporting daily business operations and maintaining an organized surgical environment
