Compensation & Schedule Details

  • Hours & Shift: Day shift (36 hours per week).
  • Contract Length: Travel contract (Target Start Date: October 5, 2026).

Key Facility Policies & Unit Scope

  • Surgical Specialties: Must be able to independently circulate across endovascular, spine, neuro, orthopedics, and orthopedic trauma. Level I trauma experience and scrub capability are strongly preferred pluses.
  • Unit Focus: Applying the nursing process to veteran and general patients undergoing surgical procedures in the operating room, including documentation, interdisciplinary planning, and directing support staff.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Experience: Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective surgical nursing care plans.
  • Licensure: Active New Jersey (NJ) Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license in hand.
  • Certifications: AHA BLS required at submittal (AHA ACLS and PALS preferred).
  • Education: Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
