Job Summary: The Perioperative Circulator is a Registered Nurse (RN) responsible for planning, coordinating, delivering, and evaluating nursing care for patients undergoing operative or invasive procedures. Utilizing clinical knowledge, judgment, and reasoning skills based on scientific principles, the RN addresses the physical, psychological, and spiritual needs of patients during these procedures. The role involves direct and indirect professional nursing care, ongoing evaluation, and documentation of care delivered within the perioperative environment.

Required Qualifications:
• Minimum of one (1) year experience in an acute operating room environment.
• Knowledge of professional nursing theory, practices, techniques, and procedures.
• Excellent understanding of AORN Standards.
• Ability to organize, plan, coordinate, and evaluate nursing services.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team providing specialized care.
• Basic computer skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor of Science (or higher) in Nursing from a Board Approved Program.
• CNOR certification.

Required Certifications & Licensure:
• Current RN License issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing or a current multistate compact RN License (eNLC).
• Current Basic Life Support certification issued by the American Heart Association.
