Weekly Pay: $3,437/week gross

On-call coverage required, 1/3 share
40 hours/week
Requirements
- AK License Required at time of submission
- SEARHC does not provide housing or transportation for travelers. The agency is responsible for assisting their employees with these needs.
- Start date will be no less than 5 weeks after traveler's fingerprint cards are received at SEARHC in Juneau for processing.
- Upon acceptance, traveler should make an appointment for fingerprints and get them in the mail within 2-3 days to avoid the start date getting pushed back.
Position Summary:
- Position is located within the Operating Room of SouthEast Alaska Regional Health Consortium
- Handles elective and emergency cases, including:
- Abdominal
- Thoracic
- Urology
- ENT
- Plastic
- Orthopedics
- Vascular
- OB/GYN
- Must multitask efficiently and ensure surgical cases proceed throughout the day in a timely manner
- Utilizes after-hours call services to staff the Operating Rooms (OR) for nights, holidays and weekends
- Experienced OR travelers are encouraged to submit their resumes for review
- Please submit the rate appropriate to the skillset/level of submission
Baseline Qualification Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing (BSN, Associate Degree in Nursing or Diploma in Nursing)
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid, current, full and unrestricted RN license in the State of Alaska
- 3 years OR experience
Other Qualifications:
- Current BLS, ACLS & PALS
- Experience in Critical Access Hospital and/or Rural Operating Rooms strongly preferred
