Job Summary Operating Room (OR) Nurse Circulator position available in the healthcare provider sector. This role involves working as a critical member of the surgical team, providing patient care in the operating room according to regulatory standards, physician orders, and hospital policies. The position requires working days on a 4-day, 10-hour shift schedule with on-call responsibilities, including rotating weekends.
Job Details
Position Description: Travel RN- OR Circulator with a start date of 09/28/2026 and expected duration of 13 weeks. Responsibilities include ensuring supplies, managing case timeliness, facilitating communication with families, updating physician preference cards, scrubbing, assisting surgeons during procedures, and supervising personnel delivering patient care.
Required Qualifications: Valid certifications including ACLS, BLS, PALS; 2+ years of OR Circulator experience; graduated from an accredited nursing program; licensed as a registered nurse; 2+ years of relevant experience; and ability to work days, including rotating weekends and on-call shifts totaling 6-8 shifts per month.
Schedule: Days, 10 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
Preferred Qualifications: Robotics experience.
Additional Information: The RN must demonstrate critical thinking, scientific judgment, leadership, and effective communication skills. The role involves on-call duties with shifts from 5 p.m. to 6:30 a.m. on weeknights, and 24-hour weekend shifts from 7 a.m. Saturday or Sunday to 7 a.m. the following day.
