Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) with strong circulator and scrub skills to join our dynamic surgical team. This position requires a dedicated professional who is passionate about providing exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of the operating room and surgical equipment.
• Ensure a sterile environment and maintain infection control measures.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to deliver high-quality patient care.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and comfort levels during surgical procedures.
• Provide support to surgeons and other medical staff as needed.
• Educate patients and their families regarding post-operative care.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 months of permanent operating room experience is required.
• Current Ohio RN license or an active compact state license.
• AHA ACLS and BLS certifications are required.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment.

Schedule

This position is for day shift, consisting of three 12-hour shifts per week, with potential start times of 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, or 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM.
