Position: Operating Room Nurse (OR)
Location: Jacksonville, FL
Start Date: 09/08/2026
Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications: Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS); orthopedic experience; trauma orthopedic experience; TNCC or TCAR certification; no minimum experience required beyond 0 years.
Procedures Performed on Unit: Arthroscopies, total joints, orthopedic trauma
Certifications Required: BLS
Scheduling requirements: 3 12-hour shifts or 4 10-hour shifts
Unit Specifics:
Number of beds: 453
Patient ratios: 1 to 1 in some cases, especially in the operating room
Equipment: Orthopedic specialized equipment
Documentation system: Meditech
On-Call Schedule: Six on-call shifts per 4-week schedule
