Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Nurse in a hospital setting. This position involves circulating and scrub responsibilities for general and eye surgeries within the operating room department. The role requires adherence to operating room protocols and provides support during scheduled surgeries, with a focus on team collaboration and patient safety.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 8-hour day shifts, 0700-1530, Monday through Friday, minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Active Illinois nursing license, CPR certification, ACLS certification, Epic electronic medical record experience, minimum of 2 years of operating room experience, and ability to pass an EKG test on the first day. Experience in circulating for general and eye surgeries is required; scrub experience preferred. Candidate must submit an updated resume documenting eye circulation experience, one recent reference, an updated skills checklist, and Illinois licensure.
• Preferred Qualifications: Scrub experience in general and eye procedures.
• Float: Float rotation may be required if candidate has CVOR experience.
• Weekend Requirements: On-call rotation, approximately once a week including weekends and weekdays, with a minimum callback time of 2 hours.
• Holidays: Not specified.
• Orientation: Conducted on Mondays before start date.
• Credentials Due: Thursday before the start date.
• Additional Information: The role involves on-call responsibilities, with a focus on circulating and scrub roles for operating room procedures. Must be within a 30-minute drive to the hospital to participate in call rotation.
