Job Details

• Location: Corpus Christi, TX
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,870 - $1,970
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Shift Duration: 10-hour day shifts
• Shift Time: 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM
• Schedule: Weekdays with rotating weekend call
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
• Setting: Operating Room / Perioperative Nursing
• Start Date: 09/21/2026

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• At least 1 year of operating room nursing experience required
• BLS certification required
• Experience with general surgery, orthopedics, gynecology, trauma, neurosurgery, spine, ENT, or bariatric cases is highly valued
• Strong teamwork skills and a high-energy, motivated approach
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced surgical environment

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality nursing care in the operating room
• Support surgeons and the perioperative team throughout a variety of surgical procedures
• Prepare the OR, maintain a sterile field, and assist with patient flow
• Monitor patient needs and respond quickly in a 1:1 care environment
• Collaborate with day and night shift staff to ensure smooth case progression
• Follow unit guidelines and maintain compliance with established policies
