Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN)

About the Position

We are seeking a skilled Operating Room Registered Nurse to join our team. This position will entail working a schedule of 5 eight-hour shifts, from 6:45 AM to 3:15 PM. Weekend work is typically required every fourth weekend, with additional weekday coverage as needed.

Call Requirements

The OR RN will be part of a call rotation, covering weekdays from 3 PM to 7 AM, though the traveler will not be on call every weekday.

Floating Requirements

The registered nurse may be required to float within the scope to meet facility needs or between similar units.

Qualifications

• Experience: At least 2 years of nursing experience required.
• New Graduates: First-time travelers are accepted.
• Licensing: A South Carolina license or Compact license must be obtained prior to starting.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications are required.

Miscellaneous

• Block Schedule Accommodations: Requests for block scheduling may be considered but are not guaranteed.
• Local Radius: A 60-mile radius is in effect for local candidates.
• Local Candidates: Local candidates may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
• Guaranteed Hours: The facility reserves the right to call off one shift every two weeks.
