Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have the expertise to provide high-quality care in the operating room environment.

Schedule Details

• Shift: 8-hour Day (0700-1530)
• Days: Monday to Friday

Experience Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an OR RN.
• Experience in circulating for general and eye surgeries is essential.
• At least one travel contract completed.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in scrubbing for general and eye surgeries.

Licensure and Certification Requirements

• Active Illinois nursing license.
• Current CPR and ACLS certification.
• Experience with electronic health record systems, specifically Epic.

Orientation and Credentialing

• Orientation will occur on Mondays.
• All credentials must be submitted prior to the Thursday before the start date.

Additional Requirements

• Availability for on-call shifts about once a week, including weekends and weekdays.
• Must reside within a 30-minute drive from the location.
• Minimum call back time is 2 hours.
• Willingness to float to CVOR if experienced.
• No more than 7 days off is preferred.

Weekend and Holiday Requirements

• Participation in on-call rotation on weekends.
• No holiday shifts required.
