Job Summary
Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) located in a healthcare facility. The position involves circulating in orthopedics, spine, robotics, and general surgery, supporting a dynamic surgical team in a fast-paced environment. The role requires previous experience in the operating room and proficiency with charting systems.
Job Details
Certifications: ACLS, BLS
Education Requirements: Completion of a nursing program; valid state license required
Years of Experience: 1 year minimum
Location Requirements: Candidate must have an active license in the required state or a compact license
Schedule: Days shift; 10-hour shifts; minimum of 40 hours per week
Required Qualifications: Experience in circulating in orthopedic, spine, robotics, and general surgery; proficiency with Epic charting system; ACLS and BLS certifications; at least 1 year of OR experience
Additional Information: Must have strong orthopedic experience. The unit has a daily census of 15-18 patients, managing approximately 5 patient visits per day across 6 rooms. Onboarding involves completing core items and labs within 48 hours of contract signing, with modules completed onsite during orientation.
