Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Registered Nurse (RN) position is based in an unspecified location. This role involves assessing and developing individualized care plans for patients undergoing surgical procedures, ensuring patient safety throughout. The OR nurse provides leadership to the surgical team, supervises room activities, and communicates effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary staff to facilitate smooth procedures and optimal patient outcomes.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: 2 or more years of RN OR experience; Level 2 Trauma experience; proficiency in orthopedic, vascular, neurological, general/gynecological, and urology surgeries; recent travel work experience is highly preferred; active Michigan or MIL license as stated in LARA and/or Nursys; current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
