Job Summary:
Operating Room Nurse in Oklahoma This position involves delivering safe, effective, and patient-family centered perioperative care across all patient populations. The nurse will act as a patient advocate, meet surgical nursing standards, and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure quality outcomes.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Graduate of a Registered Nurse Program with current Oklahoma Registered Nurse license.
- Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
- Responsibilities:
- Participates in age-specific patient care and interactions.
- Completes departmental orientation and training.
- Collaborates with multidisciplinary healthcare team members including registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, nursing assistants, physicians, and ancillary staff in patient assessment.
- Performs head-to-toe assessments on all patients, including pediatric and geriatric populations, with regular reassessments.
- Adequately assesses and manages patient pain utilizing appropriate techniques.
- Develops and implements comprehensive nursing care plans.
- Provides leadership within the clinical setting, maintaining standards for professional nursing practice.
