Operating Room Registered Nurse Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license eligible for practice in Florida
• At least 1 year of operating room nursing experience
• Recent OR circulating nurse experience across multiple surgical services
• Operating room scrub experience required
• Experience with most surgical services preferred, excluding transplant, cardiac, and ophthalmic procedures
• Ability to provide patient-focused, friendly, and professional perioperative care
• Willingness to participate in weekday and weekend call coverage
• Current clinical credentials and compliance documentation required before assignment

Travel OR Nurse Responsibilities

• Provide safe, effective nursing care throughout the perioperative experience
• Circulate and scrub for a variety of adult and pediatric surgical procedures
• Support orthopedic, gynecologic, general, vascular, neurologic, ENT, and robotic procedures
• Prepare the operating room, equipment, supplies, and sterile field according to procedural requirements
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, surgical technologists, and other members of the perioperative team
• Maintain accurate documentation in Meditech and follow standard operating room policies
• Promote patient safety, infection prevention, and a positive patient experience
• Participate in scheduled weekday and weekend call coverage
