Job Summary The organization is seeking an Operating Room (OR) Registered Nurse for a seasonal travel assignment in a specialized surgical unit. This role involves providing patient care during various surgical procedures in a high-volume, high-acuity environment.
Job Details
Position Description: Seasonal travel RN opportunity for OR (Operating Room) with a busy facility that performs procedures including angioplasty, appendectomy, biopsy, and orthopedic/spine surgeries. The shift is scheduled nights from 7A to 9P, Monday through Thursday, with no call or weekend requirements.
Required Qualifications: Valid license as a registered nurse, with at least 1-year current hospital OR RN experience, BLS (Basic Life Support), and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support). Candidates with circulating and scrubbing experience and Meditech electronic medical record experience will be prioritized.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with procedures such as angioplasty, appendectomy, biopsy, and orthopedic/spine surgeries; good communication skills; adaptable to change; patient-focused approach.
Schedule: Nights, 10-hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week.
Additional Information: Candidates must possess a minimum of one year of hospital OR RN experience and demonstrate competence in patient care, communication, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
