Job Summary
The organization is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse in the Operating Room specialty in the en_US location. This position involves providing perioperative care in a fast-paced, trauma-level environment, supporting various surgical specialties including orthopedics, transplant, general surgery, robotics, trauma, urology, and PBS. The role requires flexibility and experience in Level 1 or Level 2 trauma settings.

Job Details

• Position Type: Registered Nurse Operating Room
• Schedule: 12-hour day shifts, from 07:00 AM to 07:30 PM, with variable days, including holidays and weekends.
• Hours per Week: 36.0 hours minimum
• Required Qualifications: Valid Florida RN license or compact license; BLS certification; recent Emergency Department experience; minimum 3 years of OR RN experience; within the last 12 months, at least one assignment at an academic medical institution or a Level 1 or Level 2 trauma facility in a major metropolitan area; prior travel experience required; no candidates with a 180+ day non-clinical employment break; no unexplained work history gaps over 30 days.
• Preferred Qualifications: ACLS preferred; recent Electronic Medical Records (EMR) experience, specifically in EPIC; scrub experience is a plus, with emphasis on orthopedics and general surgery; recent Level 1 or Level 2 trauma experience.
• Additional Information: Flexibility required; candidates must pass specialty and EKG exams with minimum scores of 80%; review rhythms prior to start; unit manager interviews required; FL AHCA processing may take up to 14 business days.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
