Job Summary: Operating Room (OR) Nurse in a short-term acute care facility. This role involves providing perioperative nursing care to surgical patients in a fast-paced environment. The position starts on 09/28/2026 and ends on 12/28/2026, with a schedule of 10 hours per shift, 40 hours per week, primarily during daytime hours.
Job Details:
Schedule: 10-hour shifts, Days, Minimum of 40 hours per week
Required Qualifications: Valid State License; at least 1 year of recent OR experience; experience with patient ratios; familiarity with electronic charting systems.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in a community hospital setting and with trauma level II units.
Additional Information: Candidates may be expected to float between nearby facilities. Candidates must commit to working 3 of the 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day). All specific scheduling and RTO requests must be submitted during application; post-offer RTO requests may not be considered. Travelers' refusal to float may result in termination or forfeiture of guaranteed hours. Candidates must have a valid compact license in hand at submission and reside within a 50-mile radius of the facility.
