Operating Room Registered Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Operating Room Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in multiple specialties, ensuring high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care during surgical procedures.
• Collaborate with surgeons and surgical teams across various specialties, including but not limited to Neurology, Transplant, General Surgery, GYN, Ortho, Bariatrics, Urology, ENT, Oral, Plastics, and Ophthalmology.
• Monitor patient vitals and respond to any changes promptly.
• Maintain a sterile and safe environment during surgical operations.
• Assist in pre-operative and post-operative care as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of Operating Room experience required prior to travel.
• Experience in Neurology, Transplant, General Surgery, GYN, and Ortho specialties is essential.
• Strong clinical skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Must be a licensed Registered Nurse with a current BLS certification.
• Previous travel nursing experience is not accepted for first-time travelers.

Work Schedule

• Shifts are 12 hours, primarily days (06:30 - 19:00).
• Weekend shifts will vary based on facility needs and will be discussed during the interview.
• On-call requirements are variable and will also be discussed during the interview.

Additional Information

• Floating to other areas within the scope of practice and outpatient services as needed.
• Maximum request time off (RTO) is limited to 7 days.
• No holiday requests will be approved during the blackout dates of 11/23-11/29 and 12/21-1/3.
