Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Nurse in Miami, FL. This position involves providing specialized perioperative nursing care in an acute care facility's operating room setting. The role requires experience in orthopedic, spine, and joint replacement procedures, with the ability to scrub and circulate across all service lines in a fast-paced surgical environment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Evening shifts, 10 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Certifications in ACLS and BLS; two years of current experience in an acute OR setting; experience with orthopedic, spine, and joint replacement surgeries including knee and hip replacements.
• Preferred Qualifications: Certifications in PALS, CNOR; charge nurse experience is desirable.
• Additional Information: The nurse must be dedicated, reliable, and proficient in charting. Ability to scrub and circulate across all surgical service lines is required. Rotating weekends, four on-call requirements over a four-week period, including weeknights, weekends, and holidays, may be necessary. The role involves observing, assessing, diagnosing, planning, intervening, and evaluating patient care, with an emphasis on excellent bedside manner and critical thinking.
