Job Details

• Position: Operating Room RN
• Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week
• Education and Experience Requirements: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited college or university preferred. Current California Registered Nurse (CA-RN) license and American Heart Association Certification for Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers required.
• Required Qualifications: Certifying body certifications, education, and license as specified; ability to communicate effectively in English; 0 years of experience required.
• Responsibilities include assessing patients, interpreting data, planning, implementing, and evaluating care, and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, effective surgical nursing care. The RN will also teach patients and their families, monitor practices relating to safety and compliance, and contribute to continual quality improvement.
• Additional Information: The role requires ability to rapidly grasp problem situations, respond quickly, activate emergency protocols, and participate in team building and unit programs to foster positive morale. The RN will leverage clinical technology for documentation and communication and contribute to professional development through ongoing learning and leadership activities.
