Job Summary
Operating Room Nurse (OR) Location: unspecified. This role involves providing specialized perioperative care within a busy surgical environment, focusing on general, robotic, gynecologic, thoracic (excluding cardiac and open heart), vascular, trauma, and orthopedic surgeries. The candidate will be responsible for functioning independently across multiple specialties, ensuring adherence to safety and clinical standards, and supporting a collaborative team.

Job Details

• Certifications, Education, and Experience Requirements: Valid AHA or ARC certification, minimum of 3 years of experience in perioperative nursing, at least 1 year of trauma Level II experience, and proficiency with the Epic (EPIC) charting system. The candidate must have at least 3 years of total RN experience, including Level II trauma experience and travel experience.
• Schedule: Dayshift, 10-hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week, starting 10/26/2026 and ending 01/25/2027.
• Responsibilities: Perform independently across multiple surgical specialties including robotics, orthopedics, general, gynecology, urology, bariatrics, ENT, plastics, vascular, thoracic, and trauma. Support surgical procedures with expertise in robotic systems, including Da Vinci Xi and DV5, and handle pre- and post-operative care.
• Additional Requirements: Ability to work within a tobacco and fragrance-free facility. Must be able to care for COVID patients if needed.
