Job Summary
Operating Room (OR) Nurse in Plano, Texas. This position involves working night shifts from 9:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with a standard schedule of 10-hour shifts totaling at least 40 hours per week. The role requires providing specialized perioperative patient care in a busy surgical unit.

Job Details

• Schedule: Nights, 9:00 PM to 7:00 AM; 10-hour shifts; minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license; certifications including BLS and ACLS; at least 1 year of experience in operating room nursing; located within the Texas state jurisdiction
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with orthopedic, neuro/spine, robotics, plastics, trauma, and robotics procedures; ability to float between units is not required
• Additional Information: The operating room unit has 23 beds and a staff of over 85 personnel, including charge nurses, nurse managers, and surgical techs. The unit performs a variety of complex procedures such as neuro/spine, orthopedic trauma, robotics, and plastics surgeries. The department operates 24/7, with staff work being scheduled on a call-in basis. Dress code for staff is scrub attire in ceil blue or royal blue.
