Job Summary
Operating Room (OR) Nurse specializing in the specialty of Operating Room is needed in Pittsburgh, PA. This role involves supporting surgical procedures in a Level 1 Trauma facility with a focus on general, orthopedic, neuro, vascular, trauma, and transplant surgeries. The assignment requires flexibility for rotating shifts including days, evenings, nights, and participation in call and weekend duties.

Job Details

• Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: Valid nursing license with a minimum of 1 year of recent OR experience, including at least 1 year of Level 1 Trauma experience within the last 3 years. Minimum of 2 years of OR experience within the last 3 years.
• Schedule: Night shifts, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, starting on 09/14/2026 and ending on 12/13/2026.
• Additional Responsibilities: Call response time is 30 minutes. In-house call rooms are available.
• Skills and Experience: Proficient or expert in general, orthopedic, neuro, vascular, trauma, and robotic surgeries (including DaVinci system and cardiac drive machine). Previous travel experience of at least 1 year within the last 3 years preferred.
• Additional Information: The role does not require scrubbing; nursing staff will support surgical procedures without the need to scrub in. All shifts are rotating, and call and weekends are mandatory, with response time expectations.
