Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Registered Nurse (RN) position in the Florida region. This role involves providing specialized surgical nursing care within a fast-paced facility, supporting diverse specialties including orthopedics, oncology, bariatrics, vascular, neuro, trauma, and robotics. The position offers an opportunity to work with a highly skilled team in a dynamic environment, with a focus on patient safety and quality clinical outcomes.
Job Details:
- Schedule: 10-hour day shifts, Wednesdays off, with a minimum of 40 hours per week. Call is required: one shift per week after the scheduled day for 2 to 4 hours, and 1 to 2 twelve-hour weekend shifts per month.
- Required Qualifications: Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS); active Florida or compact RN license at the time of submission; minimum of 2 years of experience in operating room nursing; prior travel experience; experience with robotic surgery, orthopedics, and neuro procedures; Epic electronic medical record (EMR) proficiency; degree accreditation or 5 years of experience if degree details are not on profile.
- Preferred Qualifications: Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
- Additional Information: Floating is required, with travelers prioritized for floating and possible assignment to sister campuses. All required demographic information must be completed at submission, including full address, email, date of birth, social security number, and RN license number. RTO requests must be loaded at submission due to the internal approval process. The culture emphasizes integration of travelers as core staff, ensuring a cohesive team environment. The document deadline is the Monday prior to the start date.
