Job Summary:
The operating room (OR) professional position is based in Boulder, Colorado. This role involves supporting a busy surgical unit with a focus on various specialties including orthopedics, neuro, spine, and general procedures. The position requires a dedicated healthcare professional capable of providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details:

  • Position: Operating Room (OR) Specialty Nurse or Technician
  • Location: Boulder, Colorado
  • Shift: 12-hour shifts, Nights (starting at 6:45 PM), with a schedule of Monday through Wednesday nights
  • Schedule: 36 hours per week at night shifts, starting 08/17/2026
  • Required Qualifications: Certified in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS); minimum of 2 years of operating room experience; licensed to submit; experience in acute care settings preferred; at least 15 years of age, with experience handling trauma cases such as MVCs, rock climbing, bicycling accidents.
  • Additional Information: During orientation, candidates may receive up to two weeks of training in Epic electronic medical record system, depending on experience. Charge nurses are always present during shifts; they do not take case loads during normal hours but may have assignments during evening or weekend shifts. Scrubbing is preferred but not required for registered nurses. The team operates with a unit-specific orientation process, and the role includes on-call responsibilities as per the rotation schedule with a 30-minute response time.
