Job Summary Operating Room Nurse (RN) - Oklahoma City, OK. This position requires a qualified Operating Room (OR) registered nurse with extensive experience in surgical procedures, robotics, and vascular cases. The role involves providing specialized nursing care in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary surgical environment, ensuring patient safety and optimal outcomes.
Job Details
Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: Active Iowa or IA license or multistate compact license, ACLS and BLS certifications from the American Heart Association or ARC/Red Cross, at least 24 months of current operating room experience, proficient in DaVinci robotics and vascular case procedures.
Schedule: Rotating shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week.
Responsibilities include supporting surgical procedures such as TAVR, TEVAR, AV fistula creation, and Embolectomy, with comprehensive experience in general surgery.
Must have EPIC electronic medical record experience.
Candidate must be proficient in scrub techniques and adept at working within a multidisciplinary team environment.
Submission requirements: Clinical interview pre-screening, documentation of valid drivers license, professional references from within the past 24 months, and current skills checklist specific to operating room nursing.
Preferred qualifications include spine surgery experience.
Candidates must be available to work 1-2 winter holidays as required.
