Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Specialist position in Santa Rosa, California. This role involves providing surgical nursing coverage with trauma, neuro, vascular, and orthopedic experience. Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights; 12-hour shifts; minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: California license, at least 3 years of OR experience with trauma, neuro, vascular, and orthopedic background; BLS certification.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Epic charting system, trauma Level I or II certification preferred.
• Patient Ratios: 1 RN to 1 ST overnight; 10 RN to 6 ST during days; 3 RN to 2 ST on weekends.
• Additional Information: Applicants must be willing to work up to two major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year). The role involves working independently on night shifts with no unit secretarial support. Travelers may be required to float between units or to nearby facilities. References covering one year are required.
