Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Nurse in Santa Rosa, California. This position involves providing specialized perioperative care within an acute care hospital setting. The role requires experienced OR nursing professionals capable of managing trauma, neuro, vascular, and orthopedic surgeries, and working flexible shifts including nights.

Job Details:

  • Certifications and Education Requirements: Valid California nursing license, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, recent experience with OR trauma, neuro, vascular, and orthopedic procedures, three years of overall healthcare experience, and specific experience with Epic charting system.
  • Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Valid California RN license, BLS certification, 3+ years of OR experience including trauma, neuro, vascular, and ortho procedures, charting experience with Epic, and willingness to work scheduled nights, holidays, and float within hospital or nearby affiliates.
  • Additional Information: Applicants may need to cover one night shift within their contract as needed. Night shifts are staffed with either one or two RNs, possibly with a trauma team on call. Traveler's refusal to float may result in termination of assignment. Travelers must be willing to work 2 out of the 3 major holidays and provide 2 references covering a total of one year within the last three years prior to start.
