Job Summary
The Operating Room (OR) Nurse position is located in Manchester, CT. This role involves providing specialized perioperative care in a busy surgical department, focusing on a variety of surgical procedures including Urology, Gynecology (GYN), Breast and Plastics, Orthopedics, Vascular, Colorectal, and Podiatry. The OR Nurse will support a team with minimal supervision, ensuring patient safety and quality care during surgical interventions.

Job Details

• Position: RN - OR (Operating Room)
• Location: Manchester, CT
• Shift: Dayshift, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, 5 days per week, with call responsibilities
• Schedule: 8-hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, 5 years of experience as an OR RN, BLS certification (AHA), extensive experience with Urology, GYN, Breast/Plastics, Orthopedics, and General surgeries (including robotic and open procedures)
• Preferred Qualifications: Highly experienced and independent with General, GYN, and Orthopedic surgeries
• Certifications: BLS (AHA)
• Additional Information: Call requirements include one 24-hour weekend shift every 4 weeks and one weekday call shift every other week from 7:00 am to 7:00 am. Must have proven expertise with a variety of surgical procedures including open and robotic surgeries, total joints with Mako, support in vascular cases, and colorectal procedures.
