Hospital-based Surgical Center (Pre-Op) supporting 55–70 surgical cases daily across 15 operating suites. This role focuses on pre-operative patient care, IV starts, surgical preparation, and supporting a wide variety of procedures, including robotic surgeries and both same-day and overnight cases. RNs do not scrub in procedures.

Schedule

• 3x12s or 4x10s
• Various day shifts (6a-2p, 7a-3p, 8a-4p, 9a-5p)
• Rotating weekends:
  • One scheduled 8-hour weekend shift
  • One 24-hour second-call weekend shift every 4 weeks
• 1–2 additional second-call shifts per month
• 30-minute call response time

Requirements

• BLS
• Strong IV skills
• Pre-Op/Surgical care experience
• Robotics experience preferred
• RN license required (facility willing to wait)
• Must submit a copy of an unexpired driver's license
• 50-mile radius rule applies
