Job Summary Operating Room Nurse OR Iowa This position involves providing specialized nursing care within the operating room at a healthcare facility. The role requires circulating and scrubbing in a fast-paced environment with a focus on trauma, robotics, and various surgical specialties. Candidates will support patient safety and assist surgical teams during procedures.
Job Details
Certifications: BLS (AHA) required
Education Requirements: Iowa RN license or compact/multistate license required
Degree Requirements: Not specified
Location Requirements: Iowa licensed or eligible to work in Iowa
Years of Experience: 2 years of current operating room experience required
Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week
Proven experience in hospital or medical center operating rooms preferred
Required Experience: 24 months of current operating room experience, including circulating and scrubbing roles
Clinical experience in General, Davinci Robotics, Pediatrics, Trauma, Neurology, Orthopedics (trauma), Gynecology, Urology, Transplants, Plastics, ENT, and Vascular cases preferred
EPIC electronic medical systems experience within the previous three years preferred
Trauma Level I experience highly preferred; Level II experience required
No first-time travelers; previous travel experience within the last 15 months required
Must have a valid drivers license and current performance references from within the last 24 months
Floating across all campuses is required and expected during the assignment
