Wellspring Nurse Source is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a travel nursing job in Tuba City, Arizona.

Clinical Nurse

The Clinical Nurse provides care for the Perioperative Patient, utilizing the nursing process to assess, formulate nursing diagnoses, plan interventions, and evaluate outcomes. The Operating Room clinical nurse is expected to circulate in various specialty areas, including Orthopedics, ENT, GYN/OB, General, Ophthalmology, and Dental. Obtaining scrubbing experience is highly encouraged. This position may require working varied hours, preparing for emergency cases with little notice, and covering shifts during holidays.

Qualifications

  • A valid, current, full, and unrestricted Professional Nursing License to practice nursing in any state of the United States, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a U.S. territory.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification from the American Heart Association within six (6) months of hire.
  • National Institutes of Health (NIH) Stroke Scale certification (NIHSS) must be completed within six (6) months of hire.
  • Certified Perioperative Nurse (CNOR) by the Competency and Credentialing Institute (CCI) must be obtained within one (1) year of hire.
  • T Trauma Nurse Core Courses (TNCC) certification must be completed within two (2) years of hire.

Education

  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing.

Experience

  • A minimum of two (2) years of clinical nurse and/or operating room practical experience.

Shift Information

  • 10-hour shifts from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM, four shifts per week.

Holiday Coverage

  • Required.
